Dear Students,

Anglophone North School District is pleased to announce that Lieutenant General, The Honourable Roméo Dallaire is supporting our Africa 2020 initiative by providing a $3000 scholarship for one interested and deserving student in ASDN. This scholarship will pay for almost half of the total cost of this once in a lifetime educational experience.

The Africa 2020 Initiative will see over 20 students from ASDN travel to Rwanda in February of 2020 for an in depth field study that will include a two day “Champions of Humanity” workshop at the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a visit to fair trade coffee plantations, local school visits, volunteer work and an African safari.
