More Amazing Performances

Posted: May 11, 2016

The drama crew has done it again! Last night, they put on two remarkable performances: Fast Food Shakespeare written by Burton Bumgarner and directed by Vanessa Abernethy and Amber Belanger and Timeless, written and directed by Lauren Tulloch.

The audience were in stitches while watching Fast Food Shakespeare; a fast food restaurant with sanitation issues. Susie tries to keep her family’s business in spite of horrible food and all kinds of bugs. Just before the health inspector arrives for an inspection, a pest control man accidentally uses lemonade instead of bug spray… and the bugs love it! Added to the chaos are four out of work actors who want to perform excerpts from Shakespeare, a spoiled brat, the owner of an exotic pet store who has two Peruvian gutter rats named Elvis and Pricilla, and a variety of unsuspecting customers. Pandemonium reigns as Shakespeare meets really bad food!

Timeless stole everyone’s heart: a play about human contact and love. An old man named Henry reflects upon his life, and the people within it. A journey through his memories as we meet the dearest people he knew.

The students will be performing both plays at the provincial level at drama festival in Fredericton on May 13, 2016.
