Curran Daley, a grade 10 student at BHS who competed with Team NB - Hockey at this years Canada Winter Games in Prince George BC. Curran is a speedy centre that battles hard on the boards. He draws a large amount of ice time on the team's first penalty kill line. The team had a tough draw playing BC, Ont., and Manitoba in their pool. Team NB opened the tournament with a 5-3 loss to BC. Team NB then lost to the eventual champions Ontario 6-0, and 4-2 to Manitoba. Their first win came against PEI defeating the Island 5-1. The win put them in the quarter-finals where they lost to Alberta 6-1. In the placement game NB lost to BC 5-3 and then lost a nail bitter to Saskatchewan 3-2 to place 8th. Overall, a great experience for Curran. Congrats on being selected to represent NB.
