BHS Student Wins Second in French Second Language Public Speaking Competition

On Saturday, May 6th several BHS students participated in the 2017 French Second Language Public Speaking competition held in Moncton, NB.  Congratulations to grade 11 student, Magela Van der Pluijm, who came in 2nd place in the grade 11/12 Post-Intensive French category.    Her speech was entitled "Une Fausse Connexion" and she competed against 5 other students from around New Brunswick.   Her 2nd place finish also secured her a $1500 scholarship if she chooses to study at U de M in the future.  Congratulations to all who participated at the District and Provincial level.  Thank you for representing our school and ASD-N!
