In April Bathurst High School attended tha Bathurst Music Festival held in the ESN Auditorium. The musical groups performed exceptionally well and brought home several awards from the event. BHS Vocal Ensemble won the Rotary bursary (shown above), which includes a $250 prize. The BHS Show Choir won the McDonald's Bursary ($250 prize). 

Both of these groups were tied with a mark of 88 (the highest mark in the choir category). They now share the honour of having the choral trophy until April of 2017.  It is the second year in a row that the Vocal Ensemble has held the trophy.  The trophy will be on display in our trophy case next to the Lorne Whalen Gymnasium.
